World 3 is the third of seven worlds in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

World 3 contains 18 stars, 16 of which are obtainable the first time through, or 15 without backtracking to previous worlds. This is because of Comet Medal requirements and Puzzle Plank Comet being required for one of them.
The only required star in this world is Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet 1.
